Eileen Garczynski, vice president of Ames & Gough and co-leader of the firm’s law firm initiative, will serve as a panelist during a CLE seminar for attorneys, “Ethics Issues for the FCC Practitioner.” The seminar will held on Thursday, October 6, from 6:00 to 8:15 p.m at the law offices of Wiley Rein LLP, 1776 K Street NW, Washington, DC.
Presented by the Professional Responsibility Committee of the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA), the seminar will provide a primer on traditional rules of professional conduct from the perspective of practicing attorneys in the communications law field. Topics include: legal ethics governing an attorney’s FCC practice; the attorney-client relationship; malpractice risks, including conflicts associated with simultaneous representations, and the federal and state disciplinary process. In addition to Ms. Garczynski, David Ross Rosenfeld, of the Law office of David Ross Rosenfeld, a nationally recognized authority on legal ethics and professional responsibility, will serve as a panelist.
