Eileen Garczynski authors ABA book on management liability for law firms

As a special advisor to and former appointed member of the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Lawyers’ Professional Liability, Eileen Garczynski, senior vice president and partner, Ames & Gough, has authored the ABA’s book on protecting law firms from management liability exposures, including directors and officers liability, employment practices liability and fiduciary liability. Rob Hughes discusses A/E firm opportunities, risks related to severe weather events

In a guest column for The Zweig Letter, Rob Hughes, senior vice president and partner, Ames & Gough looks at the increasing frequency of large-scale severe weather events in the U.S. and their implications for design firms. He observes that while A/E firms can be problem solvers to help harden communities against the impact of future storms, they need to approach such opportunities with an understanding of potential standard of care issues associated with current and future building code changes and related factors.
